His Excellency, the President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, Receives Members of the Advisory Board of the College of Science to Enhance Academic and Research Partnerships

Based on Jouf University' keenness to achieve its vision and mission in building a promising generation contributing effectively to the sustainable development of the Kingdom, and its commitment to enhancing its academic and research position, His Excellency, the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, received members of the Advisory Board of the College of Science in a fruitful meeting aimed at enhancing scientific and research cooperation and developing the College's programs in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, with the attendance of  a group of experts from scientists who have a proven track record in their various fields, as the Advisory Board included:

• Professor Omar Yaghi
Director of the Berkeley Global Science Institute, University of California - Berkeley, USA, and one of the most prominent scientists in the field of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, and is considered among the most cited scientists in the world due to the quality and impact of his research, with hundreds of scientific papers published in leading scientific journals.
• Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shaikhi
Assistant Deputy of Livestock and Fisheries – Ministry of Environment Water & Agriculture who has contributed significantly to the development of the agricultural and livestock sector in the Kingdom, and has led many initiatives and projects aimed at improving the productivity of livestock and fisheries, with a focus on environmental sustainability and increasing production efficiency.
• Dr. Mance Ward
Director of Research Translation and Partnerships at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), KSA, where he is a pioneer in managing strategic research partnerships, and has extensive experience in managing research projects and scientific cooperation with global academic and industrial institutions.

• Dr. Tariq Nabil bin Nada
Vice President of the Water Sector at ACWA Power, Public Investment Fund, with extensive experience in the fields of water and energy management and infrastructure-related project development, where he has led and participated in many pioneering initiatives that enhance the sustainability of the Kingdom’s natural resources.

• Eng. Sultan bin Saud Al-Saif 
Technology & Innovation Executive Director at the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), Public Investment Fund (PIF), with extensive experience in leading technical and strategic projects aimed at improving the efficiency of using natural resources and enhancing sustainability.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency, the President of the University thanked the members of the Advisory Council for their fruitful efforts, stressing the importance of such meetings in supporting the university' progress and enhancing its role as a scientific and research beacon in the Kingdom.
