His Excellency, the University' President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, received in his office this morning the team participating in the 50th edition of Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025, one of the world's most prestigious exhibitions specializing in innovation.
His Excellency, the University' President expressed the university' appreciation for this effort and commended all participating works. He congratulated the team members, both faculty members and the participating female students, emphasizing the university' commitment to encouraging innovation and providing a stimulating environment that supports the energies of male and female students,


ensuring scientific and applied achievements that serve society and contribute to sustainable development. This supports the university' strategic plan, which aims to strengthen the research and innovation system and empower the young national talents to effectively contribute to building the nation' future, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and contributing to achieving the sustainable national development. The university participated with four distinguished female student entries, reflecting the level of creativity and scientific innovation that the university is keen to support and nurture. Through its participation, the university won four medals: one gold, one silver, and two bronze.
The university also received a certificate of appreciation from the French Federation of Inventors and a certificate of appreciation from the Chinese Technical Inventors Organization. A certificate of appreciation from the Chinese Delegation, a certificate of appreciation from the University of Hong Kong, and a certificate of appreciation and University Shield from the Taiwan Invention Association in recognition of the outstanding patents and innovations the university presented at the exhibition. During the meeting, the participating female students thanked His Excellency, the University' President for his support and guidance to participate in such international conferences. They expressed their keenness to represent the university honorably in all local and international forums.


The meeting was attended by Dr. Misha'al Al-Zaid; Dean of the College of Science and the Team Leader, Dr. Feras bin Abdul-Aziz Alafer, Mr. Najeh Al-Ruwaili; representative of the university' media and public relations, Dr. Masha'el Al-Khamsan and Prof. Hassan Mohammed Ahmed; the supervisors of the student work, and the participating female students: Wasan bint Rakan Al-Enazi, Rana bint Mohammed Al-Enazi, Wajd bint Fahd Al-Hozayim, Afnan Qasim Jameel Abu Arab, Kadi Lahi Al-Ruwaili, Sulafa Ibrahim Salem Al-Jadoo', and Malak Jamal Al-Hassan.
This honorable representation at a prestigious international platform such as Geneva Exhibition; affirms the university' commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and supporting its students to compete globally.
