College Councils

1- College of Arts Council:

Council Responsibilities:

The College Council is responsible for considering matters related to the college, particularly:

Proposing the appointment, secondment, assignment, and promotion of faculty members, teaching assistants, and lecturers.

Discussing matters related to departmental councils.

Proposing the college's internal regulations.

Proposing training and scholarship plans for the college.

Deciding on student matters within its jurisdiction and referring other matters to the University Council.

Considering matters referred to it by the University Council, its president, or its vice president for study and opinion.

College Council Formation:

The College of Arts Council consists of:

1- Dr. Abdul Hameed bin Mahtalis Al-Anzi (Dean of the College)

2- Dr. Meshal bin Mounis Al-Ruwaili (Vice Dean of the College)

3- Dr. Mona bint Hammad Al-Muain (Vice Dean of the College)

4- Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al-Qarni (Head of the Department of Arabic Language)

5- Dr. Mamdouh bin Zaal Al-Huwaikim (Head of the Department of English Language)

2- College of Arts Advisory Council:

Council Responsibilities:

Proposing and encouraging all initiatives that serve the future of the College.

Strengthening and enhancing the College's relationship with the public and private sectors.

Presenting opinions and proposals regarding the employment of College graduates, addressing recruitment and employment obstacles, and improving performance levels.

Providing opinions and advice on mechanisms for securing financial support for development activities and programs.

3- College of Arts Student Advisory Council:

Council Responsibilities:

Promoting a spirit of cooperation and disseminating a culture of teamwork among students. Understanding student feedback regarding the academic, extracurricular, and service activities offered within the college.

Following up on student issues.

Engaging in connecting students with the college and its activities.

Clarifying matters related to students.
