Dentistry College launches ‘My Childhood Smiles’ event
As part of Jouf University’s commitment to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030—particularly those related to enhancing quality of life, strengthening the role of universities in community service, and promoting preventive and sustainable health awareness, the College of Dentistry at Jouf University, represented by the Student Activities Committee and the Community Service Committee, organized the “My Childhood Smiles” initiative in conjunction with the celebration of World Children’s Day.
The initiative aimed to contribute to building a health-conscious community by promoting oral and dental health among children through the delivery of specialized educational programs and scientifically based health consultations. This effort seeks to raise family awareness of the importance of early oral healthcare, the prevention of dental caries, and the establishment of healthy behaviors from an early age.
This initiative is part of the College of Dentistry’s ongoing efforts to support preventive healthcare, fulfill social responsibility, and develop human capital. It aligns with the university’s strategic direction to prepare competent healthcare professionals, strengthen community partnerships, and achieve a sustainable positive impact on community health, in accordance with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
