The Dental Clinics Center at the College of Dentistry, Jouf University, has achieved a significant institutional milestone by securing a four-year renewal of its institutional accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, extending through 2029. This follows the accreditation team’s site visit on 18 December 2025, and reflects the maturity of the academic and clinical system, along with strict adherence to quality, governance, and professional excellence standards. On this occasion, His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, received the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Hamoud Ali Al-Qarni; the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mishaal Aaber Al-Anzi; the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Kattab Al-Ruwaili; the Vice Dean and Director of the Center Administration, Dr. Doaa Al-Yamani; and the Program Trainer, Dr. Hisham Khaled Al-Awadhah.
The University President congratulated the staff of the College of Dentistry and its Dental Clinics Center on this achievement, emphasizing that the renewal of institutional accreditation represents an important milestone in the university’s journey toward embedding a culture of quality and accreditation. He noted that it is a key enabler of the university’s strategic objectives in academic excellence, the advancement of university healthcare services, and the maximization of societal impact—fully aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the healthcare sector and building human capabilities. His Excellency further affirmed the university’s continued commitment to supporting its health colleges and clinical centers and empowering them to obtain national and international accreditations. Such efforts, he explained, enhance community confidence in the services provided, strengthen the university’s role as an effective partner in regional health and community service, contribute to improving quality of life, and deliver advanced, sustainable educational healthcare.
This accreditation underscores the efficiency of the Dental Clinics Center’s operational infrastructure and its alignment with nationally approved standards for educational, training, and clinical service delivery. It also contributes to preparing qualified healthcare professionals and providing safe, reliable therapeutic services that serve the community and meet the healthcare needs of the Al-Jouf region. This achievement—after the grace of God—is attributed to the continuous support, empowerment, and encouragement extended by the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, who has given special attention to accreditation programs and institutional quality, recognizing their pivotal role in enhancing academic outcomes, increasing the reliability of university healthcare services, and achieving integration between education, practice, and community service.
The university also commended the outstanding efforts of the Dental Clinics Center team, whose professionalism and dedication were instrumental in meeting accreditation requirements and applying best practices in clinical and educational quality—reflecting a strong spirit of institutional teamwork and effective integration among academic, technical, and administrative teams.
