The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at Jouf University organized the eighth lecture entitled “Ethics of Using Artificial Intelligence in Research Writing” on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, delivered by Dr. Amjad Faleh Al-Sarhani.

The lecture highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence in scientific research, emphasizing the importance of using AI tools responsibly and ethically to preserve scientific integrity and research quality.

It addressed the risks associated with uncontrolled reliance on AI tools, the importance of distinguishing between human-authored content and machine-generated output, and ensuring originality in research work. The lecture also discussed ethical guidelines and proposed policies for the use of AI technologies, aiming to protect researchers’ rights and maintain high academic standards.
