A meeting that enhances academic collaboration and synergy among colleges of applied medical sciences

In support of academic collaboration and the integration of efforts among Colleges of Applied Medical Sciences at Saudi universities, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University, Dr. Abdullah bin Faleh Al-Sarhani, participated in the Deans Council of Colleges of Applied Medical Sciences meeting, held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, and hosted by Northern Borders University in Riyadh.

 

The meeting was attended by the esteemed deans of colleges from various universities across the Kingdom. During the session, participants discussed several strategic issues and initiatives related to advancing education in applied medical sciences, aiming to enhance academic program quality, improve outcomes, and explore ways to strengthen cooperation, integration, and knowledge exchange among the colleges.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and integrated efforts among Colleges of Applied Medical Sciences. This collaboration aims to develop academic programs, align them with the needs of the healthcare sector, and prepare qualified national cadres capable of contributing to the advancement of the healthcare system, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

 

For his part, the Dean of the College expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, for his approval and support in attending the meeting, which serves the interests of the university’s students and contributes to the college’s development.
