Jouf University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, held a meeting with the Data Management Office and the Governance, Risk and Compliance Department, as part of efforts to enhance institutional integration, raise the level of compliance, and improve data management and governance practices across the University.

During the meeting, the Data Management Office reviewed key topics related to activating data management roles across various entities. The discussion covered the responsibilities of data representatives and data specialists in supporting deanships, as well as challenges related to data classification in accordance with approved policies and national standards. The Office also discussed data quality challenges and mechanisms for measuring and improving data quality, in addition to clarifying the controls and requirements for data sharing among internal and external entities, in a manner that ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks and enhances the use of data in supporting decision-making.

The Governance, Risk and Compliance Department also reviewed several topics related to developing the institutional governance system. These included following up on the preparation of procedural manuals for University entities and completing the related requirements, as well as discussing the database of legislation, regulations, and bylaws, and the mechanism for completing the necessary data and documents. These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency of institutional work and unify efforts among the relevant entities.
