The committee is responsible for monitoring the performance indicators of the Vice-Rectorate for Educational Affairs to ensure goal achievement and sustainable improvement, in alignment with Jouf University’s vision of enhancing educational quality and developing academic and administrative processes. It functions as both a supervisory and operational body to support data-driven decision-making and strengthen coordination among colleges and deanships to achieve effective indicators that improve educational outcomes.

 

Committee Tasks:

  1. Monitor the indicators of the Vice-Rectorate for Educational Affairs, collect data, and analyze periodic performance reports.
  2. Supervise improvement plans for the indicators, prepare detailed action plans, and monitor implementation to ensure continuous enhancement.
  3. Coordinate with colleges and support deanships to execute their indicator plans, organize workshops, and hold coordination meetings to align objectives.
  4. Review matters referred by the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs.

This committee is responsible for developing the educational process at Jouf University through reviewing academic policies and regulations, updating curricula and study plans, and ensuring their alignment with quality standards and labor market needs. It supports colleges in developing programs and courses and monitors learning outcomes to achieve academic excellence and institutional and programmatic accreditation.

 

Committee Tasks:

  1. Review academic regulations and policies and make the necessary recommendations.
  2. Study educational development initiatives from colleges and monitor performance related to learning outcomes and instructional quality.
  3. Review proposals for establishing new colleges or academic departments and provide appropriate recommendations.
  4. Review and develop study plans for colleges, propose new programs, and make recommendations accordingly.
  5. Form subcommittees to carry out specific tasks as assigned by the main committee and submit reports for action.
  6. Review matters referred by the University President.

The committee oversees and organizes faculty and part-time instructors’ affairs at Jouf University, ensuring efficiency in course scheduling, fairness in teaching loads and allowances, and compliance with relevant regulations. It also aims to enhance academic performance by reviewing college needs for part-time instructors and studying cooperation and overload policies in alignment with institutional goals and academic quality standards.

  1. Review colleges’ requests for part-time faculty and announce them according to needs.
  2. Review cooperation and overload policies and recommend exceptions when necessary.
  3. Review teaching loads for faculty members and those in equivalent positions to ensure balance and fairness.
  4. Review allowances and benefits granted to faculty members and verify compliance with regulations.
  5. Review matters referred by the University President.

This committee aims to enhance the performance of Jouf University students in standardized tests by developing policies and mechanisms that align academic programs with the requirements of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and other relevant entities. The committee focuses on improving student preparedness through building high-quality question banks, implementing training programs, and conducting pilot assessments to strengthen the university’s national performance indicators.

  1. Develop policies to align academic programs with the requirements of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and other relevant entities to improve student performance in standardized tests.
  2. Establish mechanisms for creating question banks to prepare students for standardized tests.
  3. Design training policies for standardized tests and set performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement.
  4. Develop mechanisms for conducting pilot standardized tests and evaluating their impact on students’ readiness and skills.
