1- Developing study plans and curricula in cooperation with academic departments, as well as monitoring studies in lectures and practical sessions and creating schedules.

Unit Tasks:
- Serving as the liaison between the Dean's Office and the college departments.
- Responding to all inquiries received by the Academic Affairs Unit through official channels, in accordance with regulations and procedures.
- Carrying out tasks and activities assigned by the Dean's Office and providing the required reports.
- Monitoring the work of committees within the college.
- Monitoring student class schedules in coordination with the Deanship of Admissions and Registration.
- Monitoring the student placement process and the smooth running of lectures.
- Issuing student academic records.
- Monitoring examinations until grades are finalized.
- Handling student absences and lateness.
- Monitoring student transfers to and from the college in coordination with the Deanship of Admissions and Registration.
- Monitoring student transfers between departments in coordination with the Deanship of Admissions and Registration. - Updating course schedules, classrooms, and faculty lists.
- Receiving transfer requests to and from the college, both from within and outside the university.
- Contributing to the supervision of the implementation of the college's study plans and programs.
- Providing a database of departments, faculty members, and study plans.
- Participating in various college activities.
- Supporting all college units in their work.
- Providing suggestions and solutions to all problems students face, to the best of their ability.
- Submitting suggestions to the college dean regarding anything that would improve operations.
- Implementing the college's academic regulations, decisions, and systems.
- Academic and Student Advising Unit:
Unit Vision:
To achieve leadership in the field of academic and student advising services, and to support students in utilizing their abilities and skills to achieve outstanding success within the framework of the university's goals.
Unit Mission:
To provide high-quality advising services to students, helping them understand the college's systems and academic programs, develop their academic and personal abilities, cultivate their various skills, and overcome all their challenges through individual and group advising, thus contributing to the achievement of the college's goals.
Unit Objectives:
To guide, advise, and assist students in overcoming obstacles they encounter in their studies.
Providing necessary support to students throughout their academic journey to ensure the smooth flow of their study plan and completion of its requirements within the specified timeframe.
Assisting students facing learning difficulties.
Facilitating communication between students and the college by connecting students with their academic advisors, listening to their concerns, and working to resolve them.
Monitoring and evaluating student progress reports throughout their studies.
Following up on academically outstanding students, striving to improve their performance, and supporting gifted students.
Unit Tasks:
Supervising orientation programs for new students to familiarize them with the college's study and examination system, preparing them for integration into university life and ensuring they understand the necessary regulations.
Assigning new students to academic advisors and publishing the lists on the college website.
Assisting students in registering for appropriate courses at the beginning of each semester.
Assisting with the add/drop process and providing the necessary forms.
A dedicated file is created by the advisor for each student experiencing academic difficulties or expected to experience difficulties, to facilitate monitoring their progress.
A comprehensive list is compiled of gifted, struggling, and disabled students.
Students are given special attention, focusing on nurturing their talents and abilities.
Students experiencing academic difficulties are supported, and their academic progress is monitored.
Students are encouraged to read publications issued by the Deanship of Student Affairs and attend workshops offered on advising and other skills.
Students are assisted in making informed decisions regarding their academic and professional futures.
Students are guided in selecting appropriate courses based on the academic plan.
Students are informed about the various forms of support and services provided by the university and college.
Students are made aware of the unit's purpose, importance, and how to benefit from its services, as well as the role of the academic advisor, through meetings, publications, and the college website.
A periodic report detailing the unit's activities and student performance is submitted to the college administration and subsequently forwarded to the university's Academic Advising Center.
Studying cases referred to it by the college administration and preparing reports to be submitted to the relevant authorities.
Reviewing students' academic problems raised by advisors and working to resolve them with the college administration.
Contributing to resolving students' psychological, financial, social, and professional problems.
Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit:

To establish and activate an internal system for managing quality assurance and educational development at the College of Arts, Al-Jouf University.

Examinations Unit:
Unit Vision:
To excel in overseeing examinations in terms of accuracy and ease of administration.
Unit Mission:
To excel in implementing examination regulations, decisions, and systems, fulfilling the unit's assigned tasks, and preparing a list of standards and specifications for exam construction.
Unit Objectives:
To organize the administration of examinations according to the scheduled date each semester, assign proctors, receive examination papers, and review and archive student grade reports.
To oversee the preparation of the examination control center and form proctoring committees for final examinations.
To develop a work plan to ensure a sufficient number of proctors for final examinations.
To supervise the conduct of final examinations.
To coordinate with academic departments regarding final examination matters for courses.
To coordinate with other units regarding examination procedures.
To coordinate with the female student section regarding final examinations.
To hold regular meetings with members of the Examinations Unit to discuss the unit's operations.
To prepare proctoring schedules and supervise final examinations for all courses.
Coordination with various departments within the college regarding final exams (Maintenance Department – Security and Safety).
Complete preparation of all exam requirements (labs, answer sheets, various exams).
Preparation of final results reports for approval by the Dean of the College.
E-Learning Unit:

To be a leading unit in e-learning services and to be at the forefront of distance education.
Unit Mission:
The unit strives to provide distinguished services to its students and to enhance communication and comprehensive development through building e-learning awareness.
Unit Objectives:
To spread the culture of e-learning among the college's students.
To spread the culture of e-learning among faculty members, keeping them informed of developments in the field of e-learning and how to utilize them to serve the college's students.
To help students understand the systems, procedures, and regulations related to e-learning.
To provide technical support to college students through the program's e-learning coordinator.
Unit Tasks:
The unit is responsible for several tasks, including:
Distributing the Blackboard activation form and receiving it before the end of each semester.
Monitoring the Blackboard activation process for faculty members in each assigned section.
Conducting training sessions for students and faculty members in coordination with the Deanship of E-Learning on Blackboard system management.
Monitoring online courses, tracking faculty activity, assisting with lecture recording, and overseeing the creation of virtual classrooms for each faculty member according to their schedule.
Addressing technical issues encountered by faculty and students in the Blackboard system.
Providing the Dean of the College with follow-up reports on the unit's activities and faculty members' activities.
Participating in the preparation of the college's annual report.
Graduates Unit:

To enhance the ongoing support and development of the college's graduates by fostering communication between the college and its alumni and providing them with all possible services of high quality, in line with the college's mission.

To develop graduates' scientific and professional skills and competencies and cultivate the personal qualities necessary to compete in the job market. - To strengthen graduates' sense of belonging to the college and university through effective and continuous communication and by providing them with all possible services.

To establish a leading graduate studies unit specializing in its programs within the college's departments: English Language, Arabic Language, and Sports Science and Physical Activity.

To create a work environment encompassing all graduate programs approved by the college, contributing to the development of society's needs.
Unit Objectives:
1. To enable outstanding graduates to pursue graduate studies and cultivate leading research talent.
2. To offer high-quality academic programs that meet the needs of society and keep pace with the latest advancements in knowledge. 3. To enhance the college's standing in scientific research by documenting and monitoring the research output of faculty members and graduate students.
4. To develop research capabilities through specialized training programs that support scientific publication and innovation.
