The College of Nursing at Jouf University, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a leukemia awareness booth at Cities Mall on September 10, 2026, as part of the College’s efforts to promote health awareness and disseminate knowledge that contributes to disease prevention and early detection. The booth provided educational information about leukemia, its most common symptoms, and methods of early detection. It also introduced visitors to initial screening procedures and preventive advice, distributed educational materials and brochures, and offered health consultations and guidance.

The event aimed to enhance public knowledge of leukemia and emphasize the importance of recognizing its symptoms and seeking early medical evaluation, thereby supporting healthy behaviors and raising awareness of prevention and early detection. The initiative reflects the College of Nursing at Jouf University’s ongoing role in community service and health education through awareness initiatives and activities that provide community members with health knowledge and contribute to promoting prevention and health awareness.
