College of Nursing Enhances First Aid Skills Among School Students:
The College of Nursing at Jouf University, represented by the Activities, Initiatives, and Community Service Unit, organized an event titled “First Aid: Take Initiative and Save a Life” on September 14, 2026, at Knowledge City International Schools, as part of World First Aid Day activities. The event aimed to promote health awareness and develop essential skills for responding to emergency situations.
The event featured practical demonstrations of a range of first aid skills, along with guidance on appropriate procedures for handling emergencies, helping enhance participants’ readiness to provide an initial response in situations requiring prompt intervention.
The event also focused on fostering a culture of initiative and appropriate emergency response, while translating health knowledge into practical skills that enable participants to respond effectively to emergency situations.
This event forms part of the College of Nursing’s efforts to serve the community and promote health awareness by applying nursing knowledge and skills through educational programs that contribute to strengthening health and preventive practices among community members.
