A number of staff members at the College of Nursing, Jouf University, celebrated the Nursing program’s placement in the 151–200 global band in the 2026 ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, expressing their pride in the achievement and commending the academic and research efforts that contributed to this global recognition.
Their messages highlighted various aspects of the achievement, ranging from the quality of education and scientific research to the role of academic competencies and students, as well as the ranking’s significance as a motivation to continue development and enhance the global competitiveness of Nursing at Jouf University.
On this occasion, Dr. Iftikhar bint Jazem Al-Ruwaili, Head of the Community Health Nursing Department, said:
“An ambition advancing toward the top, and international and local excellence that reflects dedicated efforts generously supported by our beloved nation. We are proud of this global achievement by the College of Nursing at Jouf University, which has entered the 151–200 global band in ShanghaiRanking 2026, in recognition of its high-quality outcomes and rigorous research that have strengthened its standing and global competitiveness. For his part, Dr. Majed Awad Al-Anazi, Head of the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Department, emphasized the connection between the achievement, the efforts of the College staff, and the quality of education and scientific research, saying:

We at the College of Nursing, Jouf University, are proud that the College has been ranked among the world’s top 200 nursing institutions in the 2026 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) by ShanghaiRanking. In the same context, Dr. Noura bint Abdulaziz Al-Sadaan, Head of the Medical-Surgical Nursing Department, described the ranking as a milestone in the College’s journey of academic excellence, while commending the support of the University and College leadership. She said:

This exceptional, global, and historic achievement is the result of an ambitious vision and sustained efforts by the College of Nursing at Jouf University, further demonstrating the College’s strong presence at both the local and global levels. Reaching this advanced position amid competition involving hundreds of long-established universities is a true testament to competence, reflecting the dedication and impact achieved by the College with passion and professionalism while overcoming various challenges.

Dr. Fadia Risha, Assistant Professor in the Medical-Surgical Nursing Department, also congratulated Nursing on this global recognition, noting that it reflects academic quality and scientific excellence. She said:
