College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University Congratulates Dr. Sami Salim on Winning the Platinum Medal at Prix Eiffel 2025

The College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University extends its sincere congratulations to Dr. Sami Salim on winning the Platinum Medal at the international Prix Eiffel 2025 competition for inventions.

This distinguished achievement was awarded for his research entitled:
“Anti-inflammatory and Antimicrobial Activities of Ruta graveolens Extract Obtained by Supercritical Fluid Extraction”, which focuses on investigating the anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties of Ruta graveolens extract using supercritical fluid extraction technology.

The Prix Eiffel competition is organized under the supervision of the French Inventors Federation, in collaboration with the European Inventors Association, and with the participation of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).

In addition to the Platinum Medal, Dr. Sami Salim received three special awards, reflecting the scientific value and international recognition of his research work. This accomplishment highlights the excellence of Jouf University’s academic staff and their active contribution to global scientific advancement.
