The College of Applied Medical Sciences celebrates World Alzheimer’s Day
As part of promoting awareness about quality of life and healthy longevity, one of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University organized a scientific lecture entitled "Beyond Forgetfulness: What You Need to Know About Alzheimer’s," delivered by Dr. Ahmed Torad.

The lecture highlighted the main features of the disease as one of the most common neurological disorders among the elderly, emphasizing its serious impact on memory, behavior, and daily life. It also pointed to the role of genetic and environmental factors in its development. The lecture stressed the importance of early diagnosis and family and social support, especially given the limited treatment options available, making awareness and continuous care fundamental to improving the quality of life of those affected.
