College of Applied Medical Sciences students in Sakaka win first place in the Health Track with an innovative project for treating tension headaches.

Under the patronage and honor of His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya; female students from the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Rehabilitation at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Jouf University, achieved a distinguished accomplishment by winning first place in the Health Track within the Jouf University Graduation Projects Competition and the "Waed" Exhibition for Applied Medical Projects and Innovations for the academic year 1446 AH.

This victory came as a culmination of the efforts of the students:

  • Ghaidaa Bandar Al-Fahigi
  • Fasayil Ma'awadh Al-Ruwaili
  • Sumayya Hussein Al-Ruwaili

It was awarded for their innovative research project titled: "Tension Headache Treatment Using Local Mechanical Vibration Targeting Temporalis and Occipitalis Muscles - A Non-Invasive Method".

The College extended its congratulations to the winning students for this honorable achievement, wishing them continued success in their academic and professional careers. This win reflects the advanced level of scientific research and innovation among the college's students and confirms the quality of the educational outcomes at the College.
