Jouf University, represented by the College of Business, participated in the Second Qurayyat Forum for Entrepreneurship and Franchising, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Al-Jouf Region. The College had a prominent presence through a distinguished booth at the accompanying exhibition, reflecting its active role in supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem and fostering innovation among male and female students.
The College of Business booth showcased a range of academic programs and pathways related to entrepreneurship, in addition to educational and training services designed to equip students with the entrepreneurial skills required for the labor market. This participation aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in promoting a knowledge-based economy and empowering national talent.
Among the prominent participants in the forum was His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Alfayyadh, Vice Dean of the College of Business, who took part in a panel discussion titled “Franchising as an Option for Expansion and Sustainability.” During the session, he presented valuable insights into the strategies and challenges associated with implementing franchising systems in entrepreneurial ventures.
Dr. Shatha bint Salem Al-Ruwaili, a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration, also delivered a distinguished workshop entitled “From Idea to Entrepreneurial Project.” In her session, she discussed practical pathways for transforming creative ideas into scalable and sustainable entrepreneurial ventures, targeting entrepreneurs and students interested in developing their ideas and turning them into successful projects.
The College’s participation also included showcasing advanced educational and training services offered in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as highlighting selected experiences and achievements related to innovations and entrepreneurial projects implemented by the University. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting the knowledge-based economy and empowering youth.
At the conclusion of the forum, Jouf University was honored by His Excellency the Governor of Qurayyat, Dr. Talal bin Mishal Al-Tamiyat, in recognition of its active participation and valuable contribution to the success of the forum. Participating faculty members from the University were also honored for their effective involvement.
