Student Advisory Council – College of Computer and Information Sciences

About the Council

The Student Advisory Council at the College of Computer and Information Sciences serves as an effective communication channel between the college students and the college administration. It aims to enhance student participation in decision-making and in developing the educational and academic environment. The council also seeks to listen to students’ opinions and suggestions, follow up on their academic and service needs, and involve them in implementing activities and initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of the educational process and achieving integration between students, faculty members, and the college administration.

Tasks of the Council

1. Discuss student-related issues and topics and submit recommendations to the Dean of the College.
2. Follow up on student concerns and work to find appropriate solutions in coordination with the relevant departments within the college or university.
3. Prepare reports and recommendations and submit them to the competent authorities within the college.
4. Participate in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of student activities and services under the supervision of the college.
5. Communicate with students to identify their opinions and academic and service needs.
6. Promote a culture of dialogue and teamwork and strengthen the relationship between students, faculty members, and the college administration.
