CAMS Congratulates Student Enas Hamad Al-Ruwaili on Winning a Bronze Medal at IEI 2026

In a distinguished student achievement reflecting excellence in innovation and scientific research, the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University congratulates its student Enas bint Hamad Al-Ruwaili on winning a Bronze Medal for her participation in the 12th International Exhibition of Inventions (IEI 2026), in recognition of her innovative project in the field of applied medical sciences.
The student participated with an innovation entitled:
“A Therapeutic Dressing Loaded with Essential Oil Extracted from the Arak Plant for Wound Care and Post-Surgical Applications.”
This achievement represents a distinguished example of utilizing scientific knowledge to develop innovations with potential healthcare applications. It also highlights the research and innovation capabilities of students at the College of Applied Medical Sciences and their ability to transform scientific ideas into practical solutions that can contribute to healthcare and medical applications.
Winning the Bronze Medal also reflects the presence of the College’s students in international innovation exhibitions and forums and underscores the importance of fostering an academic environment that supports research, innovation, and creativity, while encouraging students to develop their ideas and projects and participate in specialized scientific and innovation competitions.
This achievement comes as an extension of the College of Applied Medical Sciences’ efforts to promote a culture of innovation among its students, connect academic knowledge with practical applications, and support research initiatives and projects that contribute to developing scientific and research skills and enhancing the quality of educational and research outcomes.
