The College of Medicine at Jouf University, represented by the Community Service Unit and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health branch in Al-Jouf, organized an awareness campaign in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Alian Boulevard in Sakaka.
The campaign aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer, featuring educational booths that provided medical information and health guidance under the supervision of specialists in women’s health and oncology. The event also included educational lectures, free initial screenings, and the distribution of awareness materials to promote the culture of early detection.
The campaign witnessed wide participation from the public, with visitors actively engaging in the awareness and educational activities, contributing to the campaign’s goal of empowering the community to adopt preventive practices and promote healthy lifestyles.
This initiative comes as part of the College of Medicine’s ongoing efforts to fulfill its community service mission, enhance health awareness, and strengthen collaboration with health authorities to serve the local community.
