CAMS Equips Clinical Laboratory Students with Core Competencies in Tissue Processing and Diagnosis
The College of Applied Medical Sciences at Jouf University, represented by the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, organized a training workshop entitled “From Biopsy to Microscope: Practical Training from Medical Tissue Sample Collection to Diagnosis.”
Presented by Dr. Manar Jaafar Mohammed Shalaby for the department’s female students, the workshop addressed integrated laboratory procedures for handling clinical biopsies, including methods of fixation, sectioning, and histological staining, leading up to accurate microscopic evaluation.
