The College of Dentistry at Jouf University demonstrated an active role in promoting community health awareness through organizing a specialized educational event on head and neck cancer, in collaboration with the Saudi Prosthodontic Society at the Educational Clinics Center, with the participation of postgraduate dental residents.

This event is considered the first of its kind in the Al-Jouf region and aimed to increase public awareness of the risk factors associated with head and neck cancer, while highlighting preventive measures and the importance of early detection. The initiative sought to promote public health and reduce health-related complications through early preventive intervention and education.

This initiative reflects Jouf University’s ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the quality of life, strengthen health awareness, and support impactful initiatives that contribute to building a healthier, more informed, and sustainable society.
