Under the supervision and in the presence of Her Excellency the Dean of the College, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, represented by the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, held an awareness event on the occasion of World Stroke Day on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

The event included an introductory lecture on the causes of stroke, its symptoms and complications, and methods of prevention, along with an explanation of the role of physical therapy in reducing damage and increasing the chances of recovery. This was followed by a practical demonstration of some therapeutic interventions by students of the department. The importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, such as following a healthy diet and exercising, was emphasized. Educational brochures were then distributed. The event concluded with a Q&A session.
