The Applied College at Jouf University, represented by the Guidance and Employment Unit, organized a lecture titled “From Rote Learning to Deep Understanding” on Monday, February 17, 2025, targeting male students.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Talaat Farouk Mohamed, who discussed the concept of deep understanding in education and the importance of shifting from rote memorization to analytical and critical thinking–based learning.

The session also highlighted modern teaching strategies that enhance meaningful learning and support students’ academic achievement.
