The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat organizes a celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of Saudi Arabia.
Under the supervision and in the presence of Her Excellency Professor Dr. Mariam Al-Anzi, Dean of the College, and within the framework of promoting the values of belonging and pride in the Kingdom's rich history, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, for both male and female students, organized a celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of the Saudi Founding Day at the female students' campus in Qurayyat on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The event was attended by faculty members, staff, and students of both genders, in an atmosphere filled with pride and a deep sense of national identity.
This event was organized as part of the college's commitment to fostering awareness of the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and introducing students to the historical stages it has undergone since the founding of the First Saudi State by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in 1139 AH (1720 CE), an event that embodies the deep historical and cultural roots of the nation.
The celebration program included a number of diverse segments. The event began with a welcoming address by Her Excellency Professor Dr. Maryam Al-Anzi, Dean of the College, who emphasized the importance of Saudi Founding Day as a national occasion that reflects pride in the deep-rooted foundations of the Saudi state and highlights the achievements made throughout different eras. The ceremony also included a presentation covering the history of the First Saudi State and the stages of the Saudi state's development, culminating in the comprehensive developmental renaissance the Kingdom is witnessing today under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect them.
The event also included a range of cultural and educational activities, such as visual presentations and informational displays about the Kingdom's history and rich heritage, in addition to student participation in expressive activities reflecting their pride in their nation and its cultural identity. These activities fostered a sense of belonging and loyalty among the college's staff and contributed to enhancing awareness of the Kingdom's history and national values.
At the conclusion of the celebration, college staff affirmed that Saudi Founding Day represents a significant national milestone, allowing them to recall the history and deep-rooted foundations of the Saudi state.
