Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, and as part of the College's breast cancer awareness programs within the University's program, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, represented by the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, held an awareness event entitled "The Importance of Laboratory Tests in Early Detection and Methods of Preventing Breast Cancer" on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at eleven o'clock in the morning.

The event included an awareness corner and the distribution of awareness leaflets about the most important laboratory tests for early detection of breast cancer.

It also included an interactive explanation of breast cancer prevention methods with the attendees, including female staff and students from the college complex in Qurayyat.

This was followed by accompanying activities to emphasize the role of early screening and its role in maintaining women's health. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session.
