Entering your admission preferences is an important step in the admission process. Please complete them carefully to avoid being excluded from a preferred major or university.
Admission priority is based on the weighted score and admission criteria, not on the date the application is submitted.
Applicants are encouraged to select as many preferences as possible and arrange them carefully according to their priorities, as this increases their chances of admission to one of their selected majors.
Please make sure to save your preferences after adding or modifying them.
Review the university programs, admission requirements, and admission criteria through the National Unified Admission Platform or the website of the Deanship of Admission and Registration at Jouf University.
Access the National Unified Admission Platform according to the announced application schedule.
Enter up to (25) preferences and arrange them carefully according to your priorities, as this increases your chances of admission.
Save your preferences before leaving the preferences page, especially after making any changes.
After the application period ends, applicants will be admitted based on the announced admission criteria, preference order, and seat availability.
The applicant must be a Saudi national, born to a Saudi mother, or the child of a Saudi citizen.
The applicant must hold a General Secondary School Certificate (or its equivalent) obtained inside or outside the Kingdom.
The applicant must have completed the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) tests (General Aptitude Test and Achievement Test) for admission to science, engineering, health, and business programs.
The applicant must be medically fit in accordance with the admission requirements of the relevant college.
No more than two years should have elapsed since obtaining the General Secondary School Certificate for applicants to health programs.
The applicant must successfully pass any required test or personal interview as determined by the University Council or the relevant College Council.
The applicant must meet any additional conditions specified by the University Council.
Applicants employed by a government, semi-government, military, or private entity must obtain approval from their employer to pursue their studies.
Applicants currently enrolled in another degree program at Jouf University or any other university are not eligible for admission.
Admission is conducted annually at the beginning of each academic year. Exceptions may be approved by the University Council.
Admission is offered directly to the available academic tracks and specializations in accordance with the admission requirements approved by the University Council and announced at the time of admission.

First: Bachelor's Degree
Major assignment is based on the available specializations within the colleges after successfully completing the track, provided that the student's GPA is not less than (2.00 out of 5.00) and that the college's approved requirements for the desired major are met.

Equivalent Score = (60% × Weighted Admission Score) + (40% × Cumulative GPA for the First Year).
If a student does not meet the major assignment requirements for the admitted specialization, the University may assign the student to another specialization with available seats, based on the weighted admission score. Colleges may also establish additional major assignment requirements according to the nature of their academic programs.
Second: Diploma
Admission to all Applied College programs is through the English Language Track (Theoretical / Shared Scientific).
Students are assigned to diploma programs after successfully completing the shared track, subject to the following:
Students must satisfy the conditions approved by the Executive Council of the Applied College, provided that their cumulative GPA is not less than 2.00 out of 5.00.
The Executive Council of the Applied College approves the programs to which students will be assigned after successfully completing the English Language Track.
Competition for placement into the programs is based on 50% of the Weighted Admission Score and 50% of the student's GPA after successfully completing the Shared English Language Track.
Is there priority in admission based on the date of application?
No. There is no priority based on submission date. Applying on the first day is no different from the last day, as long as the application was submitted within the announced period.
How many preferences must the applicant enter?
The applicant must enter a minimum of 25 preferences, ranked by priority. Note that more preferences increase the chances of admission.
Is there a second-semester application for admission?
Admission for both the first and second semesters takes place during the same university admission period shown in the timeline.
Is there priority for this year's secondary school graduates?
No. Priority is given to those who achieve the highest scores according to the announced admission criteria (noting the condition of no more than two years having passed for health specializations).
Are graduates of secondary schools outside the Kingdom required to take National Center for Assessment tests?
Yes. All applicants who hold secondary certificates from outside the Kingdom are required to take the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) tests.
Is the application paper-based or electronic?
Fully electronic, through the National Unified Admissions Platform only.
Can non-Saudi residents of the Kingdom apply?
Yes. Distinguished non-Saudi residents may be admitted in accordance with the relevant regulations, and applications are submitted through the Internal Scholarship Portal on the "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform during the designated periods.
