In a step that reflects Jouf University’s commitment to enhancing student participation in academic decision-making, the Student Advisory Council at the College of Applied Medical Sciences held its regular meeting, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah bin Falleh AlSerhani, the Vice Deans, and the heads of academic departments.

The Dean commenced the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed the Council members, emphasizing the importance of their role in representing the students’ voice and contributing to the development of the educational process, noting that the College views the Council as an active partner in the journey of continuous improvement.
The meeting addressed a number of items on the agenda, including the development of educational and academic services, the enhancement of student activities, and the improvement of the learning environment in classrooms and laboratories, in addition to reviewing key proposals related to study plans, academic advising mechanisms, and student support programs.

His Excellency, the Dean of the College, stressed the College’s keenness to carefully review the views and proposals, and to work on implementing what can be achieved in line with the strategic plans and available resources, in a way that enhances the quality of educational outcomes and strengthens their alignment with labor market requirements, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 for the development of the health sector.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continuing to hold the Council’s regular meetings and on activating institutional communication channels with students, in a manner that promotes a culture of partnership and shared responsibility within the College.
