Overview
The Bachelor of Sharia program at the College of Sharia and Law at Jouf University was established in 1433 AH with a clear mission and noble objectives. It aims to preserve Islamic identity, align with societal needs and national aspirations, and contribute to preparing male and female students in the fields of Islamic Sharia sciences, foundational knowledge, and legal studies. The program seeks to enhance their research skills, practical expertise, and field experience while instilling noble Islamic values. Graduates are equipped with precise understanding and application of Sharia texts in practical life, characterized by moderation and balance, across various fields of community service such as education, judiciary, fatwa issuance, imamate, preaching, legal consultations, law practice, and more.
The program features an integrated organizational structure, encompassing a variety of academic, administrative, advisory, and professional committees. Its operations are governed by established regulations and their executive bylaws. The program operates within a four-stage quality framework: planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement. Its plans are guided by approved performance indicators measured against a defined timeline, with active participation from all program members across both branches.
The program is committed to collecting feedback from stakeholders, including students, faculty members, graduates, and employers, and conducting benchmarking to inform its evaluation and improvement processes. These efforts ensure that its graduates are equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and values to keep pace with the evolving demands of the labor market. Consequently, the program has updated its curriculum multiple times, incorporating revisions to course content, learning outcomes, graduate attributes, and educational outputs.
