Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, Jouf University' President, issues a Number of Administrative Assignments Aiming at Empowering Female Competencies in Leadership, Academic and Administrative Positions

Based on the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, focusing on empowering women in all sectors aa a fundamental pillar of sustainable development and a main spring to achieving a vibrant society and a prosperous economy, Jouf University continues its efforts to enhance women's empowerment in leadership positions (academic and administrative), reflecting its commitment to activating diversity and inclusion policies and building a strong knowledgeable society.
With steady steps in line with the university' vision and the goals of its strategic plan, His Excellency; the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, issued a set of administrative assignments, stressing that empowering women in leadership positions is not just a goal, but a long-term investment in building a vibrant society and a diverse and prosperous economy, and a true expression of Jouf University' belief in the importance of the role of women in the national development process, and a continuous support for women through new initiatives aimed at increasing the number of female leaders in executive positions, and enhancing cooperation with local and international bodies to support women academically and professionally.
His Excellency; the President of the University confirmed that the University has adopted a set of initiatives to activate the vital and pioneering role of women, for example, the Chair of Prince Nawaf bin Abdul-Aziz for Sustainable Development, the Training Program "The Role of Women and Their Leading and Pioneering Empowerment". The program aimed to empower women by activating their pioneering role and developing their skills in technology. The University, represented by the College of Computer and Information Sciences, organized the "Digital Health for Women" HACKTHON. The HACKTHON aimed to introduce female entrepreneurs in the field of digital technology to empower women and support their participation in the labor market. 
These assignments included:
1- Dr. Bashayer bint Farhan Al-Ruwaili, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine
2- Dr. Yasmine bint Ali Al-Bolauy, Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy
3- Dr. Nouf bint Rizq Al-Rawdan, Vice Dean of the College of Sharia and Law for Female Student Affairs
4- Dr. Misha'al bint Nasser Al-'Khamisan, Supervisor of the Data Management Office
