President Reviews Colleges’ Readiness 1447AH
In line with Jouf University’s commitment to ensuring that the start of every academic year reflects a model of academic and organizational readiness, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, received the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Alaa bin Saleh Al-Arjan. The meeting focused on reviewing the comprehensive preparations for the launch of the 1447 AH academic year, ensuring that all requirements of the colleges and supporting deanships are met to guarantee a smooth and high-quality educational process.
The meeting also highlighted the readiness of the university’s colleges across its various branches, including the organization of class schedules and their alignment with faculty members’ expertise and academic specializations, thus enhancing academic performance and the quality of education delivered to students. Attention was also given to the activation of academic advising units, as well as providing psychological, educational, and guidance support mechanisms for students, helping them navigate their academic pathways and overcome challenges they may encounter throughout their educational journey.
Preparations extended beyond the academic scope to include the readiness of classrooms, scientific laboratories, university libraries, and digital infrastructure, all of which foster a smart learning environment and facilitate access to knowledge and information. These efforts are fully aligned with the university’s commitment to digital transformation across its operations.

His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, praised the tremendous efforts of all university members, including faculty, academic leaders, and administrative and technical staff. He added that Jouf University operates with a clear mission inspired by the wise leadership’s vision and aspires to be an active partner in achieving the objectives of Vision 2030, by developing its academic and research programs, strengthening local and international partnerships, and adopting modern teaching methods and advanced technologies. “With the grace of Allah, we are determined to position the university as a pioneering academic environment that contributes to building people and developing places,” he said.
For his part, the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Alaa bin Saleh Al-Arjan, stated that this meeting embodies the university’s strategic direction towards enhancing the quality of education and achieving academic excellence, in harmony with the goals of Vision 2030, which emphasize preparing a generation of qualified national talents and advancing towards modern learning environments that embrace the latest methods of teaching and learning.
