Jouf University President Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya Receives the Dean and Vice Deans of the Deanship of Development and Quality and Reviews the Deanship’s Annual Report for the Academic Year 1447 AH

His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, received the Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality and the Deanship’s vice deans to review the Deanship’s annual report for the academic year 1447 AH, and to examine the key activities and achievements made in the areas of institutional development, quality assurance, academic accreditation support, and performance enhancement across the University’s various sectors.

During the meeting, the main themes of the annual report were reviewed, including its programs, initiatives, and performance indicators, which reflect the Deanship’s efforts to promote a culture of quality, strengthen continuous improvement practices, and support colleges, deanships, and administrative units in developing the academic and administrative work system. These efforts align with the University’s strategic plan and contribute to achieving its institutional objectives.

The presentation also highlighted the Deanship’s efforts in following up on quality and accreditation requirements, developing measurement and evaluation tools, and supporting academic programs in improving their outcomes. It further reviewed the training programs and workshops implemented to build capacities, raise readiness levels, and enhance performance efficiency, thereby improving the quality of the educational process and the services provided to students and beneficiaries.

The report also showcased a number of notable achievements accomplished by the Deanship during the academic year 1447 AH. These included supporting academic programs in obtaining program accreditation, bringing the number of nationally accredited programs to 24 and internationally accredited programs to 17. The report also noted the University’s achievement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System compliance certificate for 14 colleges, 28 supporting deanships, and administrative departments. In addition, the report highlighted the Deanship’s efforts in the field of development and training, through the implementation of more than 90 training programs and workshops, benefiting over 11,700 participants. This reflects the Deanship’s role in capacity building, improving performance efficiency, and strengthening the culture of quality and continuous improvement across the University.

His Excellency the University President affirmed during the meeting the importance of the role undertaken by the Deanship of Development and Quality in supporting the University’s journey toward institutional excellence. He noted that quality performance is not merely a procedural track, but rather an institutional work culture that contributes to developing outcomes, enhancing the University’s competitiveness, and strengthening its alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

His Excellency commended the efforts and achievements presented in the report, stressing the importance of continuing to develop the quality and accreditation system, intensifying integration with colleges, deanships, and various entities, and transforming the results of measurement and evaluation into improvement opportunities and impactful development initiatives that support Jouf University’s academic and institutional presence and standing.

For his part, the Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the University President for his support and attention to quality and development matters. He affirmed that the Deanship will continue strengthening its supportive role for academic and administrative entities, developing work mechanisms, and following up on performance indicators in a manner that contributes to achieving the University’s aspirations toward excellence and sustainable quality.
