President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, Honors Outstanding Female Students with Disabilities Who Achieved High Levels of Academic Excellence

In line with Jouf University’s commitment to fostering inclusivity, educational equity, and enhancing the quality of university life for all students, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, received a group of outstanding female students with disabilities who have achieved exceptional levels of academic excellence. The reception and honoring ceremony came as a tribute to their commendable achievements and their determination, which reflects the highest meanings of willpower and ambition.

During the meeting, His Excellency expressed his pride and appreciation for the students’ remarkable accomplishments, emphasizing that their efforts serve as a source of inspiration and a living example of what can be achieved when personal determination is reinforced by effective institutional support.

The students honored included:

  • Hanin bint Tariq Al-Zari — for academic excellence
  • Maram bint Ahmed Al-Sharari — for academic excellence
  • Laila bint Mohammed Al-Ruwaili — for academic excellence
  • Raya bint Hamad Al-Wuthaiban — for excellence in volunteer work

His Excellency noted that the University, as part of its strategic plan, has adopted an integrated support system to empower persons with disabilities. This system includes academic accommodation, enhanced electronic support services, educational and psychological counseling, in addition to initiatives that promote inclusion and showcase talents and abilities.

In his speech, His Excellency stated:
“Your excellence is not merely an academic achievement; it is a testament to the strength of your will and the depth of your ambition. At Jouf University, we believe that every student deserves a fair, enabling, and stimulating learning environment that empowers them to achieve their dreams and create meaningful impact.”

He added:
“We will continue to provide our full support and remain committed to offering all means that enrich your educational journey and unveil your potential—aligning with the University’s strategic goals and Saudi Vision 2030, which places the human being at the center of development.”

The meeting also included an overview of the programs and services that the University provides to support students with disabilities, including:

  • An inclusive and accessible learning environment
  • Academic, technical, and psychological support services
  • Initiatives for talent development and empowerment
  • Educational and training opportunities that enhance integration and excellence
