1- Provide future teachers with both theoretical and practical experiences in curriculum and instruction, including planning, organisation, evaluation, and development.

2- Prepare a new generation of promising educational researchers capable of conducting applied research in curriculum and instruction to address academic and pedagogical issues through the department's postgraduate programs.

3- Enhance professionals' practices in the educational field by offering expertise and consultation to academic institutions, delivering training courses in curriculum and instruction, and strengthening research collaboration between the university and the local community.

4- Collaborate with the Ministry of Education to evaluate and develop school curricula and instructional methods.

5- Promote educational awareness in curriculum and instruction to support community development, in line with contemporary scientific, academic, and social trends.

6- Strengthen effective collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the department by aligning the department's plans and needs with labour market demands and both short- and long-term requirements.

7- Ensure the program meets accreditation standards and requirements.

8- Develop the skills and capabilities of the department's faculty members.
