Speech of the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences on the occasion of the 95th Saudi National Day
On this National Day, we recall the greatness of a journey that began in the desert to build a firmly established nation — united in word, strong in standing among nations. It is a day when we remember the sacrifices of the founder, King Abdulaziz — may God rest his soul — and his men, and take pride in the security, prosperity, and progress our homeland has achieved. It is not merely a passing memory but a renewal of our pledge, a reaffirmation of identity, and an acknowledgment of our responsibility toward a nation that has given us so much. It is a day to read our history with pride and to look toward our future with hope and determination. It is an occasion to feel the value of belonging, the essence of loyalty, and to turn these feelings into real achievements in the fields of education, health, scientific research, and development.
Today, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz — may God preserve him — and the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed, the Kingdom moves confidently toward its ambitious Vision 2030, inspired by its deep-rooted heritage and enduring values, advancing toward a future worthy of its status among nations.
Let us all be sincere pillars in the edifice of this great nation — instilling love for it in our children, safeguarding its achievements, and building with our minds and hands what immortalizes its glory for generations to come.
