The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences Organizes a Workshop Entitled “Methods for Writing Standardized Exam Questions for Health Specialties”
Under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah bin Faleh Alsrhani, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences organized a training workshop entitled:
“Methods for Writing Standardized Exam Questions for Health Specialties”,
which was held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Awad bin Aqeel Al-Anazi, who discussed the fundamental principles and scientific standards for designing and formulating standardized exam questions in health-related fields. The session included practical examples and effective assessment strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of academic evaluation and improving learning outcomes.
This workshop comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to develop the skills of faculty members and professionals in the health sector, and to strengthen the quality of education and assessment in line with academic accreditation standards and institutional excellence.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the College expressed his appreciation to the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences for organizing this distinguished workshop, commending the faculty members’ efforts in supporting academic and professional development and contributing effectively to achieving the college’s mission of excellence and leadership in education.
