Jouf University’s Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Affirms Its Support for Scientific Research to Achieve the Goals of Saudi Vision 2030

As part of Jouf University’s efforts to strengthen its leadership in the fields of research and innovation, the Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research organized a meeting that brought together His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, with a distinguished group of researchers. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Hamid bin Manawer Al-Shammari, the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Waleed bin Saad Al-Husaini, along with several deans of colleges and supporting deanships.

The meeting reaffirmed the university’s commitment to strengthening its research ecosystem and providing a motivating environment for researchers, reflecting its continuous support for scientific development and innovation in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hamid bin Manawer Al-Shammari, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, explained that the Vice-Rectorate places the highest priority on scientific research by building an integrated system that enhances the quality of research output and supports researchers with the necessary resources. He also highlighted the importance of expanding international collaboration and encouraging publication in prestigious scientific journals.

He further emphasized that the Vice-Rectorate is committed to adopting research projects with national and strategic significance in fields such as health, energy, environment, and digital transformation, contributing to sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Al-Shammari concluded by affirming that the Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research continues to implement its strategy aimed at supporting research excellence, fostering creativity and innovation, and empowering national talents to achieve the university’s aspirations in serving the community and the nation, while strengthening its presence in the global research arena.
