His Excellency the President of Jouf University receives the deans of the health colleges participating in the Hajj season 1447 AH to review the university’s plan for serving the Guests of Allah
Jouf University President Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya received Prof. Abdulkarim Al-Sharari, Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Mulhim, Dean of the College of Medicine, and the students participating in the 1447 AH Hajj season, to review the University’s plan for the participation of its health colleges in serving the Guests of Allah. The participation will include health, awareness, and volunteer programs that support national efforts dedicated to serving pilgrims, while reflecting the University’s community and humanitarian role in employing its academic and health expertise in service of the nation and society.
During the meeting, His Excellency affirmed that Jouf University’s participation in serving the Guests of Allah is an extension of its national and community mission, and an embodiment of the generous care and great attention given to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors by the wise leadership — may Allah support it. He noted that the university is keen to be an active partner in impactful national initiatives by investing in its scientific and human capabilities and strengthening its presence in the health, volunteer, and awareness fields.
The meeting reviewed the key features of the health colleges’ participation plan, which includes activating health and awareness programs, enhancing the readiness of participating teams, and enabling students and faculty members to contribute to providing quality services to the Guests of Allah. This reflects the efficiency of the university’s outputs, strengthens integration between education, application, and professional practice, and reinforces the values of social responsibility and volunteer work among the university’s staff and students.
His Excellency stressed the importance of ensuring that the plan observes the highest standards of organization, quality, and safety, and that it is based on the needs of the Guests of Allah, in order to provide health and awareness services with a tangible impact. He pointed out that the participation of the health colleges represents a valuable opportunity to highlight the university’s role in community service and strengthen its presence as a knowledge and health partner that contributes to supporting quality of life, promoting health awareness, and building qualified national talents capable of contributing across various fields.
His Excellency also directed that efforts be integrated among the health colleges and the relevant entities within the university, and that work proceed according to a clear executive plan that defines roles, responsibilities, and performance indicators. This aligns with the objectives of Jouf University’s strategic plan in enhancing community partnership, raising institutional performance efficiency, developing students’ capabilities, and supporting impactful and sustainable initiatives.
This participation comes within the framework of Jouf University’s alignment of its programs and initiatives with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly those related to enhancing the quality of services provided to the Guests of Allah, supporting volunteer work, empowering national competencies, reinforcing the role of Saudi universities in serving society, and contributing to comprehensive national development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his pride in the scientific and community efforts made by the Colleges of Nursing and Medicine, appreciating the role of their deans, staff, and students in representing the university honorably. He emphasized that serving the Guests of Allah is a great honor and a national responsibility, to which Jouf University seeks to contribute in a manner befitting the Kingdom’s status and its noble mission in caring for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
