As part of Jouf University' commitment to enhancing digital transformation and developing technical infrastructure, and its endeavor to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the field of digital transformation, and to enhance its position as a leading university in adopting smart solutions and advanced technologies.
In addition as part of the university' participation in the LEAP 2025 conference, the university, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation, signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei to discuss the ways of cooperation in providing innovative solutions in the fields of digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence technologies within the university.
Dr. Ahmed Musa Al-Siyat, Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation, has signed with the name of the university while Huawei was represented in the signing by Mr. Zou Siyi, Executive Vice President for Government and Institutional Affairs.
His Excellency, the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, indicated that this agreement comes within the university' efforts to adopt the latest technologies and achieve leadership in digital transformation, which contributes to improving the quality of education and enhancing the smart academic environment.
The areas of the memorandum included:
• Caring for talented students at the university in the field of information and communications technology (ICT).
• Cooperation in giving suggestions about the Smart Campus and the University' Data Center.
• Cooperation in providing smart education system solutions.
• Cooperation in the fields of the Cloud Computing.
