Jouf University Organizes a Panel Discussion Titled “Awareness and Responsibility and Their Impact on University Students’ Lives” as Part of Its Celebration of the 95th National Day
As part of its celebrations of the 95th Saudi National Day, and in line with its commitment to implementing qualitative programs that enhance its educational and community role, Jouf University, represented by the Intellectual Awareness Administration, organized a panel discussion titled: “Awareness and Responsibility and Their Impact on University Students’ Lives.” This event comes within a series of activities and programs the university is holding to mark this cherished national occasion, reflecting its mission to build conscious generations that contribute to serving the nation and achieving its developmental goals.
A distinguished group of faculty members participated in the session, including Dr. Faiz bin Khalaf Al-Anzi and Dr. Mohammed bin Mutrib Al-Dandani. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Zaid bin Mazid Al-Ruwaili (male campus), Dr. Wafa Fahid Al-Sarhani, and Dr. Ohoud Abdulrahman Al-Dughmi, while Dr. Arwa Saleh Al-Oqail managed the discussion at the female campus.
The two sessions revolved around four main themes:
- The concept of university awareness and its role in shaping students’ personalities.
- Awareness and responsibility in strengthening national identity and connecting students with their national belonging.
- The individual responsibility of university students in fostering discipline and academic achievement.
- The social responsibility of university students and their contributions to development and community service.

The sessions aimed to define the concept of university awareness among students and its impact on shaping their personalities, strengthening their national belonging, and instilling values of citizenship and loyalty. They also highlighted the students’ individual roles in maintaining discipline and commitment, while linking them to their social responsibilities—encouraging initiative and participation in serving the nation.
Participants emphasized that strengthening the values of awareness and responsibility among university students is a fundamental pillar in building a generation equipped with knowledge and capable of effectively contributing to the national development journey. They also highlighted that these values align directly with the strategic goals of Jouf University, which prioritize human capacity development, strengthening national identity, reinforcing moral and social values, and serving the community in pursuit of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
The sessions witnessed wide engagement from students of both campuses, who actively shared their insights on the impact of awareness and responsibility on their academic and professional futures, stressing the importance of initiative and community participation as key drivers for enhancing the Kingdom’s regional and international leadership.
Through these panel discussions, Jouf University reaffirms that its National Day activities serve as platforms to promote the values of citizenship and to uphold its educational and moral mission of preparing a conscious and responsible generation that contributes to advancing sustainable development, in full alignment with Vision 2030 goals.
