Jouf University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wirth) to develop frameworks for joint cooperation in the fields of training, education, human capacity building, scientific research, and the organization of cultural events. This initiative supports the integration between educational and cultural institutions and aligns with the goals of the “Year of Handicrafts 2025.”
The areas of cooperation outlined in the memorandum include the design and implementation of training and educational programs in traditional arts, the allocation of educational seats for university students within Wirth’s programs, and the exchange of faculty members between the two institutions. It also encompasses the activation of consulting offices, implementation of knowledge transfer and trainer training programs, and the launch of entrepreneurial initiatives in traditional arts.


Furthermore, the memorandum supports joint research, publication of related studies, exchange of resources and experts, as well as the organization of exhibitions, events, and participation in both local and international forums. It also includes the development of awareness and marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility of traditional arts and strengthen their connection with the community.
