The General Administration of Facilities at Jouf University has completed the implementation of the Switchgear Equipment Project at the university campus. This step aims to enhance the efficiency of the electrical network and ensure the stability of the power supply across all university facilities.
The project includes the installation of three main feeders and 12 sub-feeders, boosting the network's capacity to meet the growing energy demands of the university's facilities. It also ensures a high level of safety through automatic control of the electrical current, improving energy distribution and protecting the system from sudden faults.
The project is distinguished by its ability to ensure the stability of electrical current frequencies, contributing to uninterrupted power service throughout the university campus. Additionally, it enhances operational and maintenance flexibility and provides alternative electrical routes, thereby increasing the efficiency of the electrical system.
Furthermore, the project facilitates connection points for feeding ongoing construction projects, enabling these projects to be directly linked to the ring units or through infrastructure network cables. This contributes to accelerating future developments at the university.
This project is part of the university's ongoing efforts to develop its infrastructure and ensure the provision of exceptional services across all university facilities.
