Four new undergraduate admission programs starting from the academic year 1446 H

Driven by Jouf University's commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for the region's residents and its desire to transfer knowledge through active partnerships with various educational institutions within and outside the Kingdom, the university signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Electronic University. This memorandum aims to offer a range of bachelor's degree programs to the sons and daughters of Al-Qurayyat Governorate in fields that serve the labor market and align with Saudi Vision 2030.
The memorandum seeks to explore ways of cooperation and the resulting integration to meet the aspirations of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jouf region. His Highness emphasizes the importance of providing as many educational opportunities as possible to the region's residents, contributing to the availability of knowledge and education that meets the needs of the labor market.

This agreement aligns with the directives of the University Affairs Council, chaired by the Minister of Education, His Excellency Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, emphasizing the importance of integration among higher education institutions to achieve the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program by making education accessible across all regions of the Kingdom.

The university president highlighted his delight at the meeting with Dr. Mohammed bin Yahya Mardhi, President of the Saudi Electronic University. During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of mutual cooperation and related issues, resulting in the agreement to inaugurate a branch of the Saudi Electronic University in the Al-Jouf region, Al-Qurayyat Governorate. They also agreed to offer four bachelor's degree programs for the academic year 1446 AH in the initial phase, which include:

  • Business Administration (for male and female students)
  • Public Health (for male and female students)
  • Information Systems (for male and female students)
  • English Language and Translation (for male and female students)

The university president extended his gratitude to his colleagues at the Saudi Electronic University for their ongoing cooperation for the benefit of the nation's sons and daughters. He emphasized the university's commitment to fruitful and constructive cooperation that serves the students of the Al-Jouf region and its diligent efforts to provide all services to the region's governorates. He noted that the first phase targets offering four diverse programs for the academic year 1446 AH in Al-Qurayyat Governorate, with subsequent phases expected to see the introduction of more distinctive programs in coordination between the two universities to achieve regional development goals.
