As part of the College of Applied Medical Sciences’ celebration of Saudi Founding Day, the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah bin Falleh Alsrhani, wrote a national article titled “Founding Day: Heritage and Future.”
In his article, he expressed deep pride in the history of the Saudi state and the profound cultural and moral significance that this anniversary represents for a nation deeply rooted in heritage and ever-renewing in ambition. He emphasized that Founding Day embodies the historic beginning of the Saudi state’s establishment on firm foundations of faith, justice, and stability, with roots stretching back more than three centuries—reflecting the unity between leadership and people in the journey of building both nation and citizen.
The Dean explained that the founding of the First Saudi State laid the foundations of security and development, placing the human being at the center of planning and progress. He noted that the Kingdom’s current comprehensive renaissance across various sectors, especially in health and education, continues that historical vision which prioritized human education, public health, and the empowerment of national talents.
Dr. Al-Sarhani affirmed that Founding Day serves as an enduring source of inspiration for the faculty’s members to continue their dedication, pursue higher levels of excellence in education, training, and community service, and strengthen a culture of innovation and research—thereby reinforcing the University’s and the College’s roles as key pillars of development in Al-Jouf region and throughout the Kingdom.
