Electronic Registration Procedure for Volunteer Work Memberships

The steps and mechanism for electronic registration for membership in the Saudi Association for Volunteer Work can be detailed through the Association’s official website, in accordance with Article (10) of the Regulations Governing Scientific Associations in Saudi Universities, as follows:

 


1. Active Membership
Applicants for active membership must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the field of volunteer work or an equivalent qualification, and must pay an annual subscription fee of SAR 200.

2. Associate Membership
Registration is open to the following categories:

University students specializing in the field of volunteer work or an equivalent field.

Individuals working in or interested in volunteer work who do not meet the requirements for active membership.

Payment of an annual subscription fee of SAR 100 is required.
 

Completing the electronic registration form, which includes:

  • Full name (four-part name).
  • National ID number.
  • Email address.
  • Mobile phone number.
  • Selection of membership type.


1. Active Membership
Required attachments: 📎

A copy of the academic qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in the field of volunteer work or its equivalent.

Proof of payment of the membership fee via bank transfer to the Association’s account (SAR 200).

Any additional supporting documents (such as a CV or evidence of interest and participation in volunteer initiatives).

2. Associate Membership
Required attachments: 📎

A copy of the university ID and a recent enrollment certificate for university students.

Any additional supporting documents (such as a CV or evidence of interest and participation in volunteer initiatives).

Proof of payment of the associate membership fee via bank transfer to the Association’s account (SAR 100).

  • Electronic review of the application by the committee responsible for Association membership to verify the accuracy of the data and documents.
  • Submission of a recommendation to the Board of Directors for approval of the membership and issuance of the acceptance decision.
  • Notification of the applicant of acceptance through the website via the registered email, including the membership number and the electronic membership certificate.
  • Membership expires one year from the date of acceptance unless the subscription is renewed.
  • The electronic system sends renewal reminders one month prior to the expiry date.
