Projects

Regional optimal control on the velocity term in a class of bilinear plate equation
2024 - 2025

This project will examine a regional optimal control problem of a plate equation modeled by a bilinear system evolving in a spatial domain. The control will be distributed, bounded and will act on the speed term. The objective will be to minimize a functional cost which combines the gap between a desired state and that achieved in a specific sub-region ω, as well as the energy term. The study will aim to demonstrate the existence of a control solution for this problem and to characterize it as a solution to an optimality system.
