The Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation organized a workshop on 'Search Engine Optimization (SEO)'
The Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation at Jouf University organized on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM, a developmental workshop titled "Search Engine Optimization (SEO)." The workshop was conducted remotely, targeting university staff and web content editors.
The workshop was presented by Mr. Saif Towairish Al-Shammari, focusing on enabling participants to learn effective strategies to improve the university website's visibility in top search results and sustainably attract more visitors.
The workshop covered two main pillars:
- Fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization: Explaining how search engine crawlers work, as well as content reading and indexing.
- On-Page SEO Optimization: Addressing technical and functional practices within web pages to boost efficiency and alignment with international SEO standards.
The workshop witnessed outstanding attendance from various entities interested in developing the performance of their digital platforms. The session included extensive discussions reviewing the most prominent practical challenges in editing electronic content, updating links, and mechanisms for raising website efficiency to keep pace with continuous updates to global search algorithms.
Organizing this workshop comes as part of a series of ongoing programs and efforts by the Deanship of E-Learning and Digital Transformation to develop the digital skills of university staff and keep pace with the latest technologies in electronic content management, thereby enhancing Jouf University's digital presence.
