Second: Scientific Research Department

Description
The Scientific Research Department at Jouf University is a cornerstone in supporting academic excellence and contributing to sustainable development both locally and globally. It enhances the university’s position as a hub for research and innovation.

The Department provides a stimulating environment that brings together researchers, graduate students, and faculty members to achieve research accomplishments that add value to society and align with Saudi Vision 2030.

It focuses on supporting applied research that offers practical solutions to national and global challenges, while providing generous funding for research projects according to the highest standards of quality. The department also develops research capacity through workshops and training programs to enhance researchers’ methodological and scientific skills.

Research efforts are directed toward the national priorities of research, development, and innovation (RDI): human health, leadership in energy and industry, environmental sustainability and essential needs, and future economies — thus enhancing the university’s role in serving society and supporting the national economy.

 Objectives

    Third: Scientific Publishing Department

    Description

    The Scientific Publishing Department represents one of the core pillars of the university’s research and innovation ecosystem. It empowers faculty members and graduate students to publish their scholarly work to the highest standards of quality and originality. The administration provides integrated services that include training, consultations, language editing and proofreading, plagiarism checking, and the development of digital publishing platforms. Through these efforts, it aims to enhance the university’s presence in the global academic landscape and improve its ranking in scientific publishing indicators.

  • Supporting researchers in preparing research grant proposals and securing necessary funding.
  • Providing plagiarism detection services to ensure research originality.
  • Developing electronic publishing platforms and institutional repositories.
