Under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, Jouf University organized "Wa'ed" Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations in which the deans of the colleges participating were keen to share their opinions and express their happiness with their colleges' participation in this exhibition. They emphasized that their colleges' participation embodies the vision and strategic objectives of Jouf University. This participation aims to develop the skills of the university students, enhance their innovations and creativity, and support the translation of promising ideas into real-world applications that serve the community.


In his statement, Dr. Majid bin Abdurrahman Al-Zari’, Dean of the College of Engineering, expressed his happiness with the participation of the College students in "Wa'ed" Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations, saying:
“I am pleased to extend my thanks to His Excellency, the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, for his sponsorship and honor of "Wa'ed" Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations. I also extend my thanks to His Excellency, the Vice President for Academic Affairs for organizing this initiative and event, which aims to develop the skills of university students and enhance their innovations and creativity.
We at the College of Engineering are proud of our students' participation in this exhibition with a range of innovative projects, including "Reducing Electricity Consumption by Using Solar Energy for Shading Parking Lots," "Studying the Effect of Using Recycled Materials to Improve Concrete Properties," and "Converting Wasted Thermal Energy into Electrical Energy Using Innovative Technologies." We look forward to seeing these entries win international awards, enhancing their value and distinction and encouraging students to innovate and continuously develop.”
Dr. Abdullah bin Faleh Al-Sarhani, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, stated that this exhibition is a translation of the continuous and supportive directives of His Excellency, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, which have made this exhibition an embodiment of the university' ambitious vision to consolidate the culture of scientific research and innovation. This exhibition supports and enhances the environment of innovation and scientific research for the university’ students, and provides a practical platform for promising students to showcase their research projects and innovative ideas, enhance their competitiveness, enrich their applied learning experience, and enable them to transform their research findings into innovative therapeutic and technical solutions. The college is proud to participate in the exhibition with four outstanding student projects, amidst unlimited support from His Excellency, the University’ President for research and innovation. The college is committed to deepening support for student innovative projects through specialized professional workshops and connecting students with partners from the industrial sector. The exhibition strengthens the university' partnership with healthcare and research institutions and supports the transition of promising ideas toward real-world applications that serve the community.


Prof. Abdul Kareem bin Fadghash Al-Sharari, Dean of the College of Nursing, emphasized that the launch of Wa'ed Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations at Jouf University, and across several vital tracks, confirms the university' pivotal role in supporting and embracing the students’ participations through their projects and innovations.
This exhibition comes as an implementation of the directives of His Excellency, the University’ President regarding the importance of developing and promoting creativity and scientific research. We are proud of the College of Nursing' participation in this exhibition with distinguished and promising student teams. The college provided academic and logistical support to ensure their highly competitive and prepared projects. We look forward to more impactful future participations, with plans to expand funding and training programs. The university is committed to providing a supportive environment, including funding, guidance, and supervision, to ensure the success of student research projects. This environment is designed to meet future aspirations and translate these projects into scientific innovations that contribute to the comprehensive development of society.
Dr. Hamoud bin Ali Al-Qarni, Dean of the College of Dentistry, emphasized that the college's participation in "Wa'ed" Exhibition’ event is an extension of the significant support provided to the university students by His Excellency, the University ‘President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, and his continued commitment to fostering an environment of creativity and innovation across various disciplines.
His Excellency, Dean of the College of Dentistry, explained that this participation reflects the college's commitment to qualifying its students and enabling them to transform their ideas into qualitative projects that serve humanity and society, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He praised the fruitful integration between the university’ entities in supporting student excellence and achieving institutional excellence.


Dr. Mishaal bin Muflih Al-Zaid, Dean of the College of Science, expressed his happiness with Wa'ed Exhibition for Student Projects and Innovations. He emphasized that this event underscores Jouf University' commitment and dedication to excellence and creativity, under the guidance and supervision of His Excellency, the University’ President. This support reinforces Jouf University' commitment to excellence and innovation, underscoring its academic excellence and leadership in developing students' research and innovation skills. This support has been reflected in enhancing student participation in the university' internal exhibitions, which has contributed to preparing them for international participation. The most recent example is the achievement of Jouf University student projects winning medals at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions for two consecutive years.
In this context, the College of Science is participating with four innovative student projects in Wa'ed Exhibition for Graduation Projects, which varied in the fields of environmental protection, health applications, and renewable and clean energy. Through the university and its educational and research initiatives, the college has provided comprehensive support for these projects by working to publish them in classified scientific journals and qualify them for registration as patents. It has also provided an advanced educational and research environment, including modern laboratories, diverse information sources, and equipped classrooms. Wa'ed Exhibition serves as a launching pad for students to participate internationally, connecting them with local and international university partners. This enhances the marketing of their innovations and transforms them into future entrepreneurial projects.
Dr. Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Zari’, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, stated that the Wa'ed Exhibition Jouf University is a golden opportunity to showcase the students’ innovations and projects supported by the university. This aligns with the directives and vision of His Excellency, the University’ President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, who emphasized the importance of supporting student participation. It is known that the College of Pharmacy provides full support and a stimulating environment for creativity in the field of pharmacy, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. In the future, the scope of participation may be expanded to include larger projects and offer training courses to hone students' skills.


Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Ruwaili, Acting Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, emphasized that this exhibition stems from the support of the Wise Leadership and the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to empower the nation's citizens and harness their potential. The College of Computer and Information Sciences affirms its commitment to supporting its students participating in Wa'ed Exhibition. This participation reflects the directives of His Excellency, the University’ President to promote innovation and student projects.
