CEO's Message, College of Applied Sciences, Al-Jouf University

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of Prophets and Messengers.
The Saudi Vision 2030 represents a comprehensive strategic framework that charts the course for a prosperous future, placing education and training at the heart of sustainable national development. In line with the Kingdom’s commitment to empowering its citizens and enhancing their capabilities, the vision seeks to improve the quality of education and training at all levels and align educational outcomes with the evolving needs of the labor market. This is achieved through the provision of specialized programs that develop skills and increase youth employment opportunities in vital sectors.
Given the challenges facing graduates of general and higher education—particularly their enrollment in majors that do not match labor market requirements—the need has arisen to restructure educational pathways to keep pace with modern economic and technological transformations.
Accordingly, and in harmony with the directives of Vision 2030, and based on the decision of the Council of Universities Affairs No. 1442/4/9 dated 1442/9/14 AH, Administrative Decision No. 2244/42/6 dated 1442/10/17 AH was issued by the President of Jouf University, stipulating the transformation of:
Community College in Sakaka
Community College in Qurayyat
Community College in Tabarjal
into the Applied College, following a developed model aimed at preparing national cadres through applied and professional programs that meet labor market needs and match future skills.
This transformation reaffirms Jouf University’s role in supporting national priorities by developing professional diploma programs linked to professional certifications, and by strengthening partnerships with public and private sectors. This ensures improved educational outcomes, enhances investment in human capital, and directs student energies toward twenty-first-century skills.
We ask Allah to bless these efforts and to guide our sons and daughters toward what benefits them and their homeland.
